Danjuma: “I can’t wait to get started and show my quality”
First words from Valencia CF’s new forward
Arnaut Danjuma is now officially a Valencia CF player and, after signing for the next three seasons, he has shared his first impressions in this initial interview as a Valencianista.
First feelings after signing
I feel great, I’m very happy to be here, and I can’t wait to get started. Valencia CF is a club that everyone knows is very big — I grew up watching Valencia CF win many titles.
Trust from the team and the coach
I used to play with Dani Raba and I’ve spoken to him. He told me many good things. I’ve also spoken with the coach — he’s told me a lot of important things and he has confidence in me. I value that a lot; for me it’s very important. I want to be close to the coach and the team. Valencia CF is a very family-oriented club.
How he defines himself on the pitch
I’m a player with speed, I’m quick, I can score goals, and I want the fans to enjoy watching me. I want to get started and show my quality.
Eager to connect with Mestalla
The stadium is spectacular, the fans are very strong, and I’m really looking forward to playing at Mestalla. Everyone knows that playing here is very tough because the fans put on a lot of pressure. I’m very proud to represent Valencia CF, and it’s always better to play at home when you’re at Mestalla.
Ambition and a key challenge in his career
I signed here because I feel the club wants to grow, and the coach told me he wants to grow as well. The second half of last season was better, and this is a historic club. I’m here to help, I will give my all, and we’ll see how far we can go.
